Seguridad y protección contra incendios
Energy storage systems are evaluated not only for performance but for their behavior under fault conditions. Great Power designs to recognized fire-protection and ingress-protection standards so that cells, cabinets, containers and integrated systems can be deployed in populated and industrial environments with documented safety margins.
Cumplimiento NFPA 855
The National Fire Protection Association standard NFPA 855 governs the installation of stationary energy storage systems, covering siting, separation distances, ventilation, detection and suppression requirements. Our containerized and cabinet-based ESS architectures are dimensioned against these provisions, including compartmentalization, thermal-runaway propagation limits and emergency-response access, so integrators can reference a compliant baseline when preparing permitting packages.
Tecnología de supresión por aerosol
Each enclosure is provisioned for aerosol-based active suppression. Aerosol generators deliver fine potassium-carbonate particles that interrupt combustion chemistry at the cell level, extinguishing lithium-ion fires without water damage or residual liquid. The system operates on multi-stage detection—temperature, voltage deviation and gas sensing—and triggers locally within the affected module while isolating adjacent compartments to limit propagation.

Outdoor cabinets and containers are rated IP55 as standard, providing dust-protected operation and resistance to low-pressure water jets from any direction. Selected configurations reach IP67, sustaining temporary immersion and heavy condensation typical of coastal, mining and telecom sites. Ratings are verified through third-party testing and recorded per product family.
